Sickos

I thought everyone was on the mend but they all woke up sicker. Hmmmm....I have only a touch of the problem but today seems to be crawling by with kids creeping around being only mildly responsible. I am VERY much looking forward to spring at this point. I have my weight issue to whittle away on and that is pretty hard when you can't take the little person with you. I keep dreaming of hoeing the garden and knowing it will do some good. I love hoeing have I mentioned that?

Cough, cough.......lots of coughing. Yes mom, they are sick. Cough, cough, cough......

sorry--had a spelling mistake and I couldn't let it slide!

I'm intrigued. Do you homeschool? Is your man a pastor? And what DO YOU DO with the toddler who won't be quiet and who can't be bribed or threatened into complying? I also have a 3-mo old and an 8-year-old.

Sickos indeed..we share your fate. It has been a horrible winter. As soon as one sickness ends, another begins! We are now onto the intestinal virus. The bright spot is that it only seems to last 24-48 hours and moves on to the next person. Yay. When did my children learn to share??? LOL

iow, I can relate even though I am not snowbound here in NC and God WILL get us through it...I don't know how, but He always seems to!

Joy, yes we homeschool. What to do with toddler. It varies from giving him stuff to draw on, to giving him snacks that will take forever to eat, to having the two year old and baby hang on my head while I try to teach the six year old math and how to read. OH, dear 13 and 16 yo's, did you need some math graded too????? Moment by moment but we seem to have successfully gotten the first child almost through the college application process anyway and she seems mostly ok after living here. :o)

Dear husband is NOT a Pastor but an overacheiving engineer. We spend A LOT of time with our Pastors though so does that count? DH is famous for energy, lots of neat ideas and big projects. He hopes to get back to the Pastor's vestment cabinet soon.....

Lauri - I am sorry your kids are sickos too. SIgh. We did the intestinal virus in October. It must have been most of October or at least half. It seemed that way anyway. Hang in there.
